Answer to the riddle?

Do you like riddles?
I enjoy a good riddle and my family really likes riddles and games.

So when a friend emailed this riddle to me, I brought it to my wife and kids for a
family fun time activity. (Fun, really!)

"Please look at the math below:

If:

2 + 3 = 10

7 + 2 = 63

6 + 5 = 66

8 + 4 = 96

then

9 + 7 = ???

The number you find is the password to the Excel attachment
Sign your name, save it, and please forward on to another person.
You will find my name at the bottom of the list . . . you can add yours there."

At dinner, I set it up so each could solve on their own, but not share
the answer until everybody was done.

Thomas was quickest at about 15 seconds, (he has studied these things before). My wife Tam, Jeff II and Rachel followed soon after.

Each saw the riddle solution a different way, however the answer was the same of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that night while watching a nature show on TV, I was struck by the
narrator's often repeated term "evolution". He kept saying evolution explained the wide variety of animals and how they live. This is another riddle for many people.

Where did all the animals come from?

To answer the riddle of how all the animals came to be (and everything else), I choose to believe God creatively made each. And everything reproduces (all "creation") after their kind.
This truth is clearly answered in Genesis 1 where God says,

"Each after his kind."

The Truth is clear. No real riddle after all.

Hope you enjoy the math riddle.

As for where all the animals came from, God gave us the answer long ago.

MOONTOWN !

Moontown- when I first heard the name I envisioned
a small residential area on the moon.
Really!

Then I thought "How silly is that?"

What I learned is that Moontown is a small airport

(read as grass runway) off Rt.72, East of Huntsville, Alabama.

No airliners here. Personal, single and double engine planes. Some are Experimental and might have been hand built by their owner. Wow.

My daughter Rachel and I went there early
(6:00 AM) Saturday morning to prepare and
serve breakfast in a fundraiser for

This is Rachel's first year in band and she loves it.
We are very proud for her.

Buckhorn Marching Band won
GRAND CHAMPION in the
Tennessee Valley Invitational
in Muscle Shoals this past fall.

I agree, they are the best.

We made scrambled eggs, pancakes (about 200), sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, OJ and the southern speciality - grits. (what are grits really????)

This was my favorite plane today

The pilots flew in from other small airports
near their home or even from their back yard!
Yes, some told me they have a runway at home.

Moontown is associated with aviation group EAA.
Not really sure of specifics on that,
but the pilots and their passengers
were great people and we enjoyed
serving them.

And the name "Moontown". Well I think it has
something to do with the rockets made in Huntsville, Alabama.

Isabella Elise is here and she is perfect.

We are Blessed.
Here she is, God's Christmas gift to us this year.

When our son Aaron, and his wife Jonna told us they were
expecting, well what great news. Finally a grandbaby that
we can love and cuddle close to home.
Oh what a time we will have.
